As a student or a newbie developer you should know what softwares should be used for web development on the Windows platform.

Let’s start with Notepad

Notepad is a simple text editor for Windows and can be used as a basic text editing program for creating HTML, CSS and JavaScript files.

Next is Notepad++ : Notepad++ is Notepad on steriods. It provides features like Syntax highlighting, auto-completion, muilti-language environment support and as a beginner you should definitely use Notepad++ because its free and open-source.

Next software is Brackets.

Brackets : Brackets is a lightweight, modern, open-source code editor by Adobe. Brackets provides cool features like Inline editing, Live preview that allows you real time connection with your browser and support for SCSS and LESS CSS.
